Roger Hairis co-founder and president of Hawk East, Inc. He has nearly 30 years of law enforcement and security experience retiring as the Chief Deputy for the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office in 2000. While in law enforcement he served in SWAT and VIP Protection command roles. His recent list of clients includes the US Smokeless Tobacco Company, New Your City Department of Corrections and entertainers Jon Bon Jovi, David Faustino, Cary Elwys, and Estella Warren. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Justice and Policy Studies from Guilford College and is an adjunct instructor for criminal justice programs at the Rockingham Community College in North Carolina. Roger is the state director for the International Association of Personal Protection Agents and an occasional contributing editor to Police and Security News.

Brent Pierce, a highly respected multi-disciplined Martial Arts instructor, is the chief defensive tactics instructor for Hawk, East, Inc. He has more than 25 years of law enforcement and security experience. Brent retired from the San Jose (CA) Police Dept, and is president of C2, Inc., a security consulting, training and contracting firm. Brent provides security for the US Government in classified operations worldwide including Iraq, Kuwait, and Pakistan. His clients also include the United States Federal Air Marshal Service, New York Department of Corrections, and The Home Depot. His no-nonsense techniques for combat have earned him the respect and trust of both student s and peers worldwide.

Al Voikides is vice-president and co-founder of Hawk East, Inc. He is a 3 tour decorated Vietnam veteran having served in the 173rd Airborne on their famed RECON teams. His worldwide operational experience includes Indonesia and Madagascar. His list of assignments/clients includes actors Haley Joel Osment, Dot-Marie Jones, and legendary director Arthur Hiller. His extensive experience with a wide variety of firearms led him into also providing weapons training for actors in various film projects.
